Samantha Speaks

Today my 4 year old nephew spoke for the first time in a Primary program! His entire class had to be prompted about what to say. When it was his turn, he got up there and said his line, totally and completely, without any help! Everyone was shocked and giggled so bad! I'm so proud of him! He is quite a fabulous kid!!!
These are pictures from my sister's Halloween Party last night! I had to be the fortune teller again! I made a lot of fortunes that said something like, "If you wear that costume again on Halloween, I predict that people will say 'Oh what a pretty/cute little girl/boy!' and will give you much candy!" I know, my predictions are just astounding! It was a lot of fun! Very fabulous!!!

This is from Tuesday (Man have I been slacking lately!):

My friend, Deanna, had her dad's porche at FHE. So, of course, Kelley and I begged her to take us "for a spin!" It was so much fun!!! Quite fabulous I must say!!!

We spent hours getting ready for our ward party last night, and it was SO worth it! We had so much fun! And, despite the risk of embarrassment, we went out to eat afterwards! In our COSTUMES! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!! It's so fabulous!!!

Sunday's fabulous thing:

I'm not much of a baker or cook, so this was a big deal for me! At Ward Prayer/Pancake Breakfast that my ward had tonight, I made the Honey Wheat Pancake batter! Not too hard, but I never cook, so it was fabulous to me!!!

Today's fabulous thing:

My neice is the cutest thing in the world! She was picking out a pumpkin to take home, and I stuck the sticker from it on her head! It stayed there for over an hour!
So, this is actually Friday's fabulous thing, but I slacked last night! Also, it doesn't come from me. It's a friend's experience, but I have permission to share it!

She was out doing something with someone (I actually don't remember, but it's not important to the story!) and she got dropped off at home. It turns out the she was locked out! So, she went to the backyard to try and get in that way. She then proceeded to slip into the mud and got muddy! So, she went back to the front to wait for someone to come home. That's when she called me to tell me her story. Retelling it, it doesn't seem so fabulous and funny, but my friend has a great sense of humor and she was laughing when she called me! She thought that I would get a kick out of her story too! Then it started to rain! She was just dying! She's a fabulous person who had a fabulous night last night!!!

Today's fabulous thing:

After spending all day doing nothing and feeling very stressed and guilty about doing nothing because today is parent/teacher conferences and I had none to go to, my Vice-Principal did the nicest thing that she could have done for me! She let me go early! Seriously, it was like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders! I almost hugged her I was so happy! It was the best present!!!

So, the fabulous thing today is this:

I went to my favorite restaurant where you get punches on a punch card for every dinner that you buy. When you get to 10, you get a free dinner. I had my freebie card filled up, so I got my dinner for free! Also, since the girl felt bad about mixing me up with someone else, she gave me 2 free punches on my new card! Life is good!!!

For those of you who don't have the honor to work in elementary schools, let me tell you about today's school lunches! They are very different from what ours used to be! They are all about healthy eating for kids! That, in and of itself, is wonderful! However, the execution of it still needs work! I present to you the healthy cheeseburger! I'm not exactly sure what the meat was supposed to be, but I don't think it was beef! If it was, it was the grossest beef on the planet!!! With a whole wheat bun! What you see there is how much I ate of it! There is a sunny side of the street, though. They now offer a huge salad bar to everyone, free of charge! Yea for change!!!

So, not only do they serve very gross food, but they also take away any kind of sustance by way of drink! The vending machines are always "Sold Out", not only in the teacher's lounge, but in the cafeteria as well! They are trying to kill us!!!

The first quarter of school officially ended yesterday! Since my class is only a quarter long, I own't see my kids anymore! On Monday, I have a brand new set of kids! It'll be good, but I will miss my kids! We had a fun day yesterday, though. We had a "party" and played games and ate candy! Life is good!
